This 6-week role will support elegy recital workshops and youth engagement during the Muharram commemorative period, particularly for events held at The Sheridan, Manchester.

This is an unpaid volunteer role, but reasonable expenses will be covered. The role involves evening work (4–5 hours daily), with the program commencing around 6:00 PM and concluding at Maghrib prayers at sunset.

About the Charity

ManCom has been active since 2017, with over 100 volunteers and a management team of 6 individuals. We work primarily with the Pakistani Shia Muslim community across Greater Manchester, supporting over 2,000 young people and families. Our work includes weekly youth activities, leadership development, emergency aid trips, and commemorations throughout the Islamic calendar—especially during Muharram.

  • Provide support to ensure a nurturing and inclusive environment for participants.
